OCCASIONAL DRAWL? 

We produce and present theatre. Led by Brian Letchworth and Christa Scott-Reed, Occasional Drawl draws on what we’ve learned from decades of financing, developing, administering and managing as well as directing, writing and performing. We choose work that is socially electric and designed for cultural relevance, commercial upside, and repeat engagement. Occasional Drawl takes a holistic and hybrid approach to producing and has a values-system rooted in paying attention to people. We appreciate both the new and the re-imagined. We gravitate toward the wry and the unusual. Seen one of our projects? Then you’ve experienced an Occasional Drawl.  

Occasional Drawl’s Off-Broadway production of Arlene Hutton’s BLOOD OF THE LAMB was nominated for the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Play in 2025.
