Let. Her. Rip.

LET. HER. RIP. is set in the crosshairs of the Match Women labor movement and the Jack the Ripper murders of 1888. Nana, Em and Liza are busting their lady balls to make London's East End safer for all working people when headlines shift to the mysterious man mutilating women in the streets. The three friends are hilarious, crude, vulnerable, ferocious, and resilient as they fight against deadly misogyny and personal demons. But as tensions come to a head, who will make the final rip?
The Buzz
“A brilliantly reimagined discourse on women of the Victorian era. This is the Stages show to see this year...The play feels like it is giving a fierce identity to women at a time when they were just starting to fight for their own power. But ingeniously, there is comedy, there is friendship, and plenty of great moments of joy…This work speaks to the present, talks to us as a community, and explores the soul of the country, but all the while still entertains.”

“LET. HER. RIP. painstakingly balances high comedy with high horror, crafting a show that belongs in the annals of modern theatrical classics…a timeless and timely script…It’s an unapologetically angry story in an era where none of us can afford to be complacent. And it’s a paean to the necessity of compassion and connection.”
